VBAC = Vaginal Birth After Cesarean.
Its an outdated idea that “once a cesarean, always a cesarean”. Unless of course there is a really serious threat.
If you had a cesarean because of a breech baby, irregular heart rate, “stalled labor”, or labor was “too long” then you are probably an excellent candidate for a vbac!

If you want to have a vbac, you need to prepare, research, and find a provider that is all in for your birth desires!
Not all providers are comfortable with vbac’s. If they aren’t, then you should find another one. I’ve compiled a list of providers in western PA that are vbac friendly. If your looking for a vbac friendly provider, lets chat!
